Jehovah's Witness becomes Porn Star
After ceasing their association with Jehovah’s Witnesses people take different roads. Some of them ’see Jesus’ and become born again Christians. Others ’see the irrationality and hypocrisy of faith and religion’ and become convinced atheists. A great number becomes ex-Witnesses because they ‘walk after the flesh’ and find it difficult to obey the high moral standards as preached by the Watchtower Society. In spite of this it is highly exceptional that these fleshly desires will transform a Jehovah’s Witness into a porn star. One of these exceptions is Kim Holland from the Netherlands.
She was interviewed by the biggest Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf, 12-09-2000″. The headline on the front page was: “From JEHOVAH ['s Witness] to SEX BOMB”. I will quote some parts of the newspaper’s interview with the ‘Dutch Queen of Porn’ sparing you the raunchiest details.
Kim Holland speaks about her ‘pre-pornographic’ time:
“I was very decent. I was even a Jehovah’s Witness who went from door to door with magazines and tried to convince people they had to convert in order to live after Armageddon.”
On the question of how she became a Jehovah’s Witness she answers:
“My mother died when I was ten years old. My grandmother was a Jehovah’s Witness and told me that I could see my mother again if I would believe too. Of course I did this. I was a bloody fanatic and married as a virgin when I was eighteen years old. At the meetings I learned that men outside the faith desired just one thing. I wasn’t occupied with sex and never had an orgasm.”
This changed when she met Ruud. Ruud about their encounter:
“I met her at the industrial insurance board where I was an inspector at that time. Kim started to work there as a receptionist. Maybe it is a cliché, but it was love at first sight. I wanted to be careful with her -first some cuddling- because she wasn’t accustomed to anything yet. The religious poison had to go out of her”
Kim continues:
“I had my first orgasm with Ruud. I was 23. Such a thing creates a terrific bond.”
The genius was out of the bottle and Kim acquired a taste for it. She became volunteer by the NVSH (Dutch Association for Sexual Reform). There she learned to be more open-minded about sex. She saw her first porn movie with Ruud and told him she could do it much better.
“I went to the greengrocer and selected all kinds of nice toys. Next I placed a video camera on top of a tripod and made my first movie. I found it stimulating to sell it to strangers and placed an add in the newspaper: Blonde girl sells her own video’. I received hundreds of reactions.”
Ruud became her manager and didn’t have difficulties with the fact that Kim had sex with other men in front of the camera. Now she is working on her own TV program and as if this is not enough she is also planning to open her own sex club!
Although, according to research among 20,000 readers of Psychology Today, 92 percent of the male respondents and 72 percent of the females reported that they had used erotic or pornographic material for arousal, it is exceptional for (ex-) Jehovah’s Witnesses and other people to become porn stars.
Maybe the Watchtower Society will use this example in a exaggerated way to illustrate what can happen with people who are ’sowing with a view to the flesh’ and don’t listen to the admonitions of the Organisation.
Reality shows that most ex-Witnesses have an ordinary job and a normal sex life. Kim Holland is just an exception out of a collection of curiosities.
