If you don’t mind, I have a suggestion. Perhaps like most things in life we should examine concepts & philosophies using an objective point of view, without bias with regard to all aspects of this faith to establish credibility.

What would you say regarding the story of the boy crying wolf? Are you familiar with that story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boy_Who_Cried_Wolf)? It is easily apparent after several occurrences falsely crying wolf, the boy had lost credibility. Obviously I don’t think you or anyone else would disagree.
In like-manner, to determine the authenticity & trustworthiness of an organization, faith or business you need to study its history, philosophy & track record. A thorough examination of the aforementioned will allow us to conclude where this religion/operation stands in the arena of credibility.
George Santayana (Spanish philosopher, writer & poet) is well known for not mincing words, in fact he created a very important statement which is: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” from Reason in Common Sense, the first volume of his The Life of Reason.
What do we find when an honest study of the Watchtower’s history is conducted? Albeit we see that Charles Russell made honest attempts to break away from wrongful thoughts/pagan aspects of traditional old-school faiths, he borrowed a lot of doctrines from 2nd Day-Adventists, utilized pyramids & spiritualism to develop doctrines/prophecies & was yet another person believing (initially reluctantly) they were God’s instrument. What was the manifestation of his work? The obvious answer based on the outcome of his predictions and use of pyramids, etc was that he was incorrect.
Did this stop others such as Rutherford from continuing such work? As we all know, it did not. Rutherford was the first true President of the Watchtower Society and was the key individual to start the whole concept of an organized religion. Despite establishing an empire, he continued to develop prophecies & predictions none of which came to fruition. Rutherford was also a heavy drinker (arranged smuggling alcohol into the US using the Canadian HQ during the Prohibition). The whole concept of slaving for the Lord (in truth the organization) was innovated & perfected during his tenure. Just like in Russell’s days, even with all the false prophecy there were still followers. Rutherford was more than aware of this. He arranged the building of two mansions in California deeded to the old prophets as he expected them to arrive during his reign. All doctrines of the JW faith are based on the inceptive ideals of Russell & Rutherford. Despite the Watchtower’s propensity for flip flopping on their doctrines, if you’re structure is based on a shaky foundation, just what good is it? Where is the credibility?
Should we pretend none of the chronic false prophecies exist from an organization that professes to be God’s chosen channel? What of their other infamous assertions through the years all proven falsehoods such as not using aluminum cookware & Russell’s miracle wheat (lost in court for falsifying/lying)?

If your eyes are open, how do you not see the false prophecies of your religion?

If you are unaware of the true history of the Watchtower Society and its chronic false prophecy, are you like them in danger of repeating the same old mistakes?

Where is the truth in false prophecy? It would appear that your comment borders on cult-like mentality. Just switch your brain off and let them control your thoughts & individuality, correct? Jesus never sought to convert people using false prophecy and he certainly didn’t ask his followers to lose their individuality & freedom of thought.

Matt 28:19,20 is the last command from our Lord to preach and teach and make disciples, all of Gods servants were taught this in the first century and were told by Jesus that he would be with them all the days untill the conclusion of the system of things. This is one of at least 7 Identifying Marks of a true Christain religion , also to gain eternal life one would have to have knowledge of them all to follow them as outlined in John 17:3 which shows that it is knowledge from the Father and from Jesus that means our everlasting life and so may we all continue to make sure of all things and follow the commands and will of our Heavenly Father and Jesus who he sent forth.

If the answers we all need are in the bible, as claimed by you. Why the need for all the crappy propaganda printed by the WT? Why not just read the bible alone???
