Jehovah’s Witnesses “are not surpose to be like all other religions”. They claim to be “seperate and no part of the world’” which includes religions that “do become involved in the world” and NGO’s. Richard – Ten years is a long time and no, there is no other group of people who strive to teach and live by true bible truths as the WBTS – What I worry about is the amount of time that has lasped and new knowledge that may have passed you by – I mean every wakeful moment one is thinking of something and in the Hall there is thoughts and words and actions of peace – never does anyone advocate causing harm or strife or pain, so Please contact the nearest Hall and ask the brothers about a study with a view to coming back if you have repented and turned around. If not, then keep going to the meetings and listen and learn, no matter if you are disfellowshipped. Jehovah still speaks to you through the talks and programs. Agape

This story has been in existance for a while, unfortunately many JW’s like yourself have long been alseep at the wheel of life.
Just so you know, when I first heard of this I was surprised and refused to believe it was the case, so I emailed the NGO division of the UN to get some feedback on the validity of such a claim. Sure enough I got the same info as published above stating that the Watchtower was indeed an NGO partner with the UN for a while. Despite the lame excuses by the WTS to justify it’s actions, it is another unfortunate example of corporate greed & shamelessness.
With all of the WTS’ numerous faults, outright lies, false prophecy & greed, it’s amazing that people will defend them and then try to defame/damage others credibility, for merely stating the obvious.

There is no way JW could sign up to the UN without knowing what they were doing. I worked in bethel and I know that nothing is done there without it being checked and double checked by the governing body or other senior “brothers”. There is no way they could not know what they were doing. And there is no excuse. To suggest it was to use the library is an insult on my intelligence.

Truth hurts, doesn’t it buddy. The WTS is nothing more than a huge corporation raking in the dough. All other issues are merely an annoyance to them, as they are too busy counting the cash. Sounds a lot like the other false prophets throughout history.

Wake up there Sparky, a huge billion dollar operation that goes through all the trouble to sign up as a NGO and it was a mistake? Try taking your head out of the sand and get with the program. You think this is the only atrocity, oops mistake the WTS has made?

It seems to me that a mistake was made, and once reconized as such, the W.B.T. S. disassociated themselves from the U.N. If I’m wrong in this assumstuion, would you please show me evidence of where the W.T.B.T.S. published anything that encouraged brothers and sisters to alline themselves with their agenda.
Also, please if anyone can show me any other orginazation other than the W.T.B.S. that is attempting to adhear to the teachings of the scriptures.
There are some things that I too take issue with, and it has me torn in my firm standing to support the W.T.B.S. I was disfellowshipped after being associated with them for better than ten years.
