Maybe you wanted something different out of developing a relationship with a higher power. You forget that Adam's first relationship was with his heavenly father,his creator, not a man. Our relationship is to be with our creator-because we did not create ourselves and deserves our respect, honor, and obedience. Going to get fed spiritually comes from the scriptures first, then an organizaton that strives to live according to his Word. If your intent was not to develop that spiritual relationship-hush your foolishness! You sound like a faithless one according to PROVERBS 14:14 (The one faithless at heart will be satisfied with the results of his own ways, but the good man with the results of his dealings. You know your dealings are not to be selfish or cruel if you had developed he fruitage of God's spirit. And no JW's do not have choir's, they all sing together. So that play on word makes no sense. Anyways, persons are disfellowedship because they have commited a serious sin against themselves, the bible and ulimately Jehovah God our heavenly father. Then they instead of using their bible trianed conscience to repant with see their mistakes, they feel everything is alright. So to protect the congregation & others who are learning also, they are disfellowedship but not thrown away, the elders visit them to encoruage them and they are still welcome to attend the meetings.
