I found an interesting quote in this article: “You should not normally discuss your personal beliefs with patients unless those beliefs are directly relevant to your patient’s care. You must not impose your beliefs on patients, or cause distress by the inappropriate or insensitive expression of religious, political or any other beliefs or views.” If a Jehovah's Witness doctor discusses his/her beliefs with a patient, this patient can become convinced to refuse a blood transfusion. Discussing the blood-issue by a Jehovah's Witness medical professional is NEVER relevant to a patient's care.
