You must not impose your beliefs on patients, or cause distress by the inappropriate or insensitive expression of religious, political or any other beliefs or views.” If a Jehovah’s Witness doctor discusses his/her beliefs with a patient, this patient can become convinced to refuse a blood transfusion. Discussing the blood-issue by a Jehovah’s Witness medical professional is NEVER relevant to a patient’s care.
