Astrology and the WTS For 62
years, 1891 to 1953, the WTS taught that God resided on the
star Alcyone in the Pleiades constellation and that from this
star he governed the universe!
Beth Shan -House of Security The
WTS prepared two mansions in California to house Bible heroes
like Abraham and Moses in the resurrection. Beth-Sarim or
"House of Princes" is common knowledge. But there
was another, secret, property-called Beth Shan meaning "House
of Security"!

In Scotland in 1906, Booth discovered Russellism. Returning
to Africa and based in Cape Town, Booth now introduced Russellism
into Central Africa via mail and travelling workers.
John H. Paton -Forgotten Co-Founder of
a Sect John H Paton (1843-1922) was one of five men who

The WTS has often criticized other churches for passing collection
plates during meetings. Other fundraising efforts have also
been repeatedly condemned before 1990. After this year the
criticism stopped and the WTS began to openly solicit donations.

New Light on Alternative Military Service Rutherford forbade
both military service and alternative service for JW's. This
rule, enforced for some sixty years, placed thousands of JWs
around the world in prisons and some died as a result. In
The Watchtower of May 1 1996 the WTS's stance on alternative
service was reversed. Alternative service is again permitted!
Elders now are "Glories Ones"
All Watchtower references in the past showed that the "glorious
ones" were of the "144,000" - until the " New Light" in the
Watchtower of September 1, 1997: the elders are now the "glorious
ones".

WTS falsifies its history Perhaps
the most frequently repeated lie in the Watchtower publications
is that from 1876 onwards they forecasted that 1914 marked
the START of "the conclusion of the system of things".
Boastful lies After switching Jesus
return from 1874 to 1914 the WTS writers began
to claim that their early Bible Students had anticipated 1914
as the date of Christs presence from their
beginnings!
Armageddon by 2000 AD says "Jehovah"
After the failed prophecy of 1975 JW's claimed that Armageddon
would come before the year 2000.
