That the deliverance of the saints must take place some timebefore 1914 is manifest, since the deliverance of fleshly Israel,as we shall see, is appointed to take place at that time, and the angrynations will then be authoritatively commanded to be still, and will be made to recognize the power of Jehovah’s Anointed.Just how long before 1914 the last living members of the body of Christ willbe glorified, we are not directly informed; but it certainly willnot be until their work in the flesh is done; nor can wereasonably presume that they will long remain after that work is accomplished. With these two thought in mind, we can approximate the time of the deliverance.

So, then, if we measure backward down the “First Ascending Passage” to its junction with the “Entrance Passage,” we shall have a fixed date to mark upon the downward passage. This measure is 1542 inches, and indicates the year B.C. 1542, as the date at that point. Then measuring down the “Entrance Passage” from that point, to find the distance to the entrance of the “Pit,” representing the great trouble and destruction with which this age is to close, when evil will be overthrown from power, we find it to be 3416 inches, symbolizing 3416 years from the above date, B.C. 1542. This calculation shows AD. 1874 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years B.C. plus 1874 years AD. equals 3416 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1874 was the chronological beginning of the time of trouble such as was not since there was a nation — no, nor ever shall be afterward. And thus it will be noted that this “Witness” fully corroborates the Bible testimony on this subject…

[Men of Sodom and Gomorrah will be resurrected.]

8 Will it be more difficult for some of the resurrected dead to learn and practice righteousness than it will be for others? When Jesus Christ was on earth, he showed that it would be. Most of the persons to whom he and his disciples preached did not listen. They rejected Jesus as the Messiah, even after hearing his preaching and seeing him perform miracles. When sending out his disciples to preach, Jesus said of a city that would reject their message: “Truly I say to you, it will be more endurable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on Judgment Day than for that city.” –Matthew 10:15.

9 By saying this, Jesus showed that at least some of the unrighteous people of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah will be present on earth during Judgment Day. Although they had been very immoral, we can expect that some of them will be resurrected. (Genesis 19:1-26) Jehovah in his mercy will bring them back so that they will have an opportunity to learn about his purposes. But Jesus’ words also show that some of the unrighteous ones to whom he and his disciples personally preached will be present during Judgment Day. They, too, will be resurrected and be given further opportunity to learn God’s purposes. For whom will it be more difficult to accept Christ as king at that time? For the people of ancient Sodom or for those who had rejected the preaching of Jesus and his disciples?

10 It will be more difficult for those who personally rejected Jesus. Speaking of Capernaum, one of the cities where he performed miracles, Jesus said: “If the powerful works that took place in you had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained until this very day. Consequently I say to you people, It will be more endurable for the land of Sodom on Judgment Day than for you.” (Matthew 11:22-24) Yes, during Judgment Day it will be even more difficult for those from Capernaum to admit their mistakes and to accept and serve Christ as king than it will be for the people of ancient Sodom to learn righteousness.

11 So it will be easier for certain “unrighteous” resurrected ones to learn about God and serve him than it will be for certain other “unrighteous” ones. (Matthew 12:41, 42) What, then, about the “righteous” who are resurrected-persons such as Abraham, Isaac, Job, Deborah, Ruth, Daniel and others? Before their death they all looked forward to the coming of the Messiah. How glad they will be during Judgment Day to learn about him, and that he is ruling in heaven! So it will be much easier for these “righteous” persons to practice righteousness at that time than for any of the “unrighteous” to do so. –Acts 24:15.

[Men of Sodom and Gomorrah will NOT be resurrected]

8 It will truly be a grand privilege to be resurrected on earth during Jehovah’s great Judgment Day. However, the Bible indicates that it will be a privilege that not all will enjoy. Consider, for example, the people of ancient Sodom. The Bible says that the men of Sodom sought to have sexual relations with “the men” who were visiting Lot. Their immoral behavior was so extreme that even when they were miraculously struck with blindness, “they were wearing themselves out trying to find the entrance” of the house to get inside to have intercourse with Lot’s visitors. –Genesis 19:4-11.

9 Will such terribly wicked persons be resurrected during Judgment Day? The Scriptures indicate that apparently they will not. For example, one of Jesus’ inspired disciples, Jude, wrote first about the angels that forsook their place in heaven to have relations with the daughters of men. Then he added: “So too Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, after they in the same manner as the foregoing ones had committed fornication excessively and gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.” (Jude 6, 7; Genesis 6:1, 2) Yes, for their excessive immorality the people of Sodom and of the surrounding cities suffered a destruction from which they will apparently never be resurrected. –2 Peter 2:4-6, 9, 10a.

10 Jesus too indicated that the Sodomites may not be resurrected. When he spoke of Capernaum, one of the cities where he performed miracles, he said: “If the powerful works that took place in you [Capernaum] had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained until this very day. Consequently I say to you people, It will be more endurable for the land of Sodom on Judgment Day than for you.” (Matthew 11:22-24) Jesus here was emphasizing the reprehensibility of the people of Capernaum by saying that it would be more endurable for the ancient Sodomites who, in the minds of his Israelite audience, were totally unworthy of a resurrection on Judgment Day.

11 Surely, then, we should do everything we can to live our lives so as to merit a resurrection. But it may still be asked: Will it be more difficult for some of the resurrected dead to learn and practice righteousness than it will be for others? Well, consider: Before such “righteous” persons as Abraham, Isaac, Job, Deborah, Ruth and Daniel died, they all looked forward to the coming of the Messiah. How glad they will be during Judgment Day to learn about him, and that he is ruling in heaven! So it will be much easier for these “righteous” persons to practice righteousness at that time than for any of the “unrighteous” who are resurrected to do so. –Acts 24:15.

"A fourth of the world is starving today. Tomorrow will even be worse. Famine over most of the world now is more terrible than most of us can imagine. . . . There are now more people hunting desperately for food than at any other time in history."

More recently, the book entitled "Famine-1975!" [by W. & P. Paddock, 1967, pp. 52, 55, 61.] said concerning today’s food shortages:

"Hunger is rampant throughout country after country, continent after continent around the undeveloped belt of the tropics and subtropics. Today’s crisis can move in only one direction - toward catastrophe. Today hungry nations; tomorrow starving nations.

By 1975 civil disorder, anarchy, military dictatorships, runaway inflation, transportation breakdowns and chaotic unrest will be the order of the day in many of the hungry nations."

More recent reports have shown that a constant lack of adequate food, resulting in chronic malnutrition, has become the "major world hunger problem today." The London Times reported:

"There have always been famines, but the scale and ubiquity [presence everywhere] of hunger today is on a totally new scale. . . . Today malnutrition is said to affect more than a thousand million people; perhaps as many as 400 million live constantly on the brink of starvation."-June 3, 1980.

4 Second, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been targets of false accusations-barefaced lies and twisted presentations of their beliefs. As a result, they have been the object of unjustified attack in some lands. Further, because they seek nonblood medical treatment that is in harmony with their desire to obey the Bible’s command to ‘abstain from blood,’ they have wrongly been labeled "child murderers" and "a suicide cult." (Acts 15:29) But the fact is that Jehovah’s Witnesses place a high value on life, and they seek to obtain the best available medical care for themselves and their children. The accusation that numerous children of Jehovah’s Witnesses die each year as a result of refusing blood transfusions is totally unfounded. In addition, because Bible truth does not have the same effect on all family members, Witnesses have also been accused of breaking up families. Yet, those acquainted with Jehovah’s Witnesses know that they highly regard family life and try to follow the Biblical commands that a husband and wife love and respect each other and that children obey their parents whether they are believers or not.—Ephesians 5:21-6:3.

they say that the lighter gets brighter. but this presents problems for them, for a light to get brighter there must be some light initially. but the JW have changed some of their beliefs completely, not one tiny bit from their old beliefs remain with the new. (e.g “generation understanding”)

so it must mean before the “new light” they were in darkness completely.

It looks more like a flickering light altering from year to year than an actual light getting brighter. There seems to be an intense desire by the governing agents in Jehovah’s Witnesses faith to sustain membership by reacting to what is actually happening rather than the realization of events per dates published.

In a desperate effort to possess the stamp of authenticity, dates are consistently being published and then modifed after it becomes a non-reality.

Very disturbing for an organization that prides itself on love of truth and being different that all the rest, i.e. christendom.

These quotes just come to show that Proverbs 4:18 is true. New light is always being shed upon Gods Spiritual Israel. The faithful & discreet slave class dispenses this food to it’s members. The governing body must also accept this as the food at proper time as they only represent the slave class.

Very likely that it was the slave class & not the Governing body that presented this inofmration to the GB & they must accept it as the slave in higher than the GB.

Please let us know how the slave class communicates with the GB, because all anointed ones I asked could not tell me because they did not know and never had any communication with the governing body. To all of them the new light in the new publications is just as NEW as it is to the great crowd, whereas the other sheep (-like Karl Adams former overseer of writing department) working and writing in Brooklyn who put together and research the new light before the many, many anointed ones in the local congregations receive the new light together with the rest of the sheepfold.
What you say it myth -not reality. I urge you to visit Brooklyn to find out.

Sir, please THINK, before speaking or accepting Watchtower “New Light” for that matter.
