Dianne, please read for yourself the account in John 20. Jesus’ body was not in the tomb and when Thomas doubted, he was gently persuaded by Jesus to touch his hands and Thomas was convicted that it was indeed Jesus in the flesh. Please understand that if Jesus had not conquered death then the sacrifice would have been invalid. Don’t know what Jay was studying when he answered you with all the added propaganda he included in his response. There was no reference to 144,000 or any of the other stuff he added. If what you read in the scripture does not square with what you are being taught from other sources, do please let the scriptures speak for themselves. Jay is feeding you lies and twisting the scriptures to fit his own version of the bible. Just keep in mind that when what is in the bible does not agree with the JW, they write their own version and calls that truth. Read Galatians 1:6-9 and then ask yourself how anyone can twist the scriptures and still feel comfortable actually teaching that as gospel truth.
Please for your own sake, study and ask questions from all sources and that includes people who have walked away from this religion. If you end up in the religion and then find out that you are not being taught the gospel, you will find that it is much harder to walk away. You will have scars that will be most difficult to overcome. You will not be free to just say that you want to serve God and learn and just remain friends and fellow christians with these people. Concerning your question about Jeremiah and Matthew.
Jesus made the statement the he himself would raise the temple in three days. (John 2:19) Satan thinks fleshly so religion makes the claim he was speaking about his body but the sacred secret is that Jesus was talking about his spiritual body, the body of Christ, the Kingdom of God, the 144,000, and each day is a thousand years. (2 Peter 3:8) The second day is ending and will end in 2033, so the sealing of the final ones are about to be finished. Does that mean Jesus is revealed at that time? No, but it does gives us the season. We are in the Last days of the Last Days.
So, it stands to reason in accord with Jeremiah that Jehovah’s people will engage in a more active and pointed message to the nations that impeding destruction is upon all those who refuse Jehovah’s Sovereignty as the Only True God. The enmity between Satan’s seed and Jehovah’s seed will grow more and more hostile to one another.

My purpose here is not to get caught up in the witness bashing. I enjoy the articles that are submitted. I will only give “my opinion”. It will be tempered with a calm spirit and attitude. I am not here to preach or lie. Truth is discerned through the heart, but our brain gets in the way. Interestingly enough Gods sees whats in our heart, sometimes intellect hinders our progress.

The Australian debacle is a prime example that the Jehovah’s Witnesses neither know or operate in the spirit of the true Living God. They only know and operate in the spirit of the governing body, mere men, fallible and leading their people into theological misunderstandings, like the pre-existence of the Christ, Jesus existing now only as spirit, who the 144,000 are/will be, denial of the historical standard ancient Roman execution method for non-citizens, being crucifixion on a cross. Sad. It’s as if none of you have ever read Jeremiah 31:31-34.
This is all new to me. I am a Jehovah’s Witness living in Footscray in Victoria, Australia. A friend of my husband (an elder) has told me that many elders are scared that they could be facing criminal offences in Australia. I have read the article on the jwnews.net website and have a lot of questions. Is the governing body looking into this?

To Barbara: The legalism and works mentality (that is, trying to earn one’s way to a position of right standing before the Living God) will never bring an individual into relationship with the Living God. Unfortunately, it appears the Jehovah’s Witnesses are steeped in both and all this will earn anyone is Jesus’ words from Matt. 7:23, that is, “I never knew you…” You will find the peace you seek by going to the Living God, stating plainly your inability to earn any righteousness before God that will leave you justified (check out Romans 3 & Ephesians 2) and by faith receive the grace He offers. Knock and the door will be open to you, seek and you will find, but always remember it is about a true relationship with the Living God, following His Spirit as you are led, not based on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, key word, “trust”), but within His merciful will. I’m not in anyway seeking to justify your lifestyle choices, it’s clear that the Scriptures tell us to flee from sexual immorality, but it is God alone who will give you any strength to allow the changes that should occure. The difficulties within your family that you experience are circumstances, difficult ones, but still only circumstances and most of the troubles that we have in this life are brought on by our own choices. The opportunity for change is present, because you still have breath in you. The Father doesn’t wave a magic wand, He sent the Messiah so that we can truly live within the context of his words and here, it is appropriate and applies that he said in Matt. 11:28, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
Now as I was saying I had to maintain control of the car so that nobody got killed! To whom it may concern, Marium Santora is a jahova witness who has violated the rules of the witnesses,my name is George and here is only part of my story,I met a lady named Cindy we fell in love,Cindy is not a jahova witness an neither am I ,Cindys mother Mariaum is a jahova witness unfortunatly. Cindy and I kept company with one another for over a year and then her mother got a stroke ,I found her mother on the floor of her home,she was not able to talk,or walk,she was not able to move her right hand she was loaded up with piss ,I called Cindy immediately to get help and she did.Cindys mother was also a horder,my god the hell we went threw to make sure that this women would make it in to the amblulance to stay alive , it took four men to carry her out,an I was one of those men.I knew that things were very bad.This women needed to be in a nursing home but because of financial reasons was not.A decision had to be past on what was going to happen to Cindys mother somebody was going to have to sacrivice there life to help her.Cindy told her mother that so long as you can accept George and the way he is that she would agree to help her.Marium said yes and Marium new that I George smoke cigerettes and I swear and I do beleive in holidays an the american flag an I did not turn my back when Cindy needed help with the problems that she faced and I have not been able to marry Cindy properly because of the mothers interference in our lives this this dispicable creature who calls herself a jahova witness does not practise her religion but instead she uses the religion as a weapon this,creature has tried in every way possible to break up our relationship now for the past eight years and this time I told Cindy that the very next time her mother opens her mouth an verbally attacks me for no reason at all that my attorney has advised me to press charges against her.Cindy and I think that she might be possessed!!!!!! I am a baptised Jehovah’s witness who due to reasons I do not wish to enter into at the moment do not attend meetings anymore, I am not disfellowshiped. My elderly mother and disabled little sister still attend the christian meetings. Today she has informed me that she will longer associate with me as I am living an immoral life by living with a man I have lived with for 6 years. And she has had new information that she is not able to associate with me because of this. What worries me is that my mother is of poor health, my sister is disabled, who will care for them when they need it. Why can she not enter mt houes, have a meal with me and the rest of her family when we all get together. I can understand this way of thinking if I was disfellowshipped but I am not. I find the whole situation so stressful.

As a religious journo I am looking into the story of Watch Tower Society facing Criminal Charges and Indictment.
I contacted silentlambs organisation and accoridng to Barbara Anderson it appears the document (Brief of Evidence) is targeted at the corporate aspect of the religion and not so much the church.
I contacted the person who prepared the Brief, Mr. Steven Unthank, who was unaware that the evidence was leaked, actually fuming, as I was his 14th international news reporter caller.
It is a Private Prosecution allowed under Criminal and corporate law in Australia.
The best I could understand is that following corporate Indictment, the District Attorney, or their equavilent, will take over the State prosecution of the individual members of the board of directors of the Watch Tower Society and their Governing Body.
The Brief is not a story, as such…the front page allows the Brief protection under the States religious laws (freedom of religion). It appears that by making the document a Submission to God and Jesus Christ it allows it to be submitted as evidence because as God and JC are the claimed head of the Jehovah’s church and the Watch Tower.
All this to comply with the laws governing religion or should I say the protection of religion.
If anyone has any feedback or thoughts please let me know.

I have only just finished reading all 664 pages (overnight) non-stop. I am so ashamed to have ever supported the Tower. The religious persecution they have carried out in Australia to the family that stood up to prote their own children and others in relation to these child protection laws is shocking. The GB should be hanging their heads in shame!!!
This Christian demands their resignation.

My experience several years ago with an employee who was studying with the Jehovah’s witnesses may interest you. I asked her to obtain copies of all the material that was being used as well as the “bible” which is different from the versions used by mainstream churches. She brought all her notes to work with her the day after their studies. My advantage was that I had studied the Bible for many years and was able to spot the discrepancies in what she was being taught and what was part of the Bible and the history. I went on line and found this website also. I was bold in asking questions to anyone on this forum who would answer me. Markus was the one person who took an interest and he was much to his chagrin a Godsend. He was kind enough to let me communicate with him at his own personal email address.
The sad irony is that most people who become part of this group do not have much background in Bible study. They have a fertile ground and much success in the indoctrination.
If you will let me know the nearest city to where you are located, I will do some checking and find someone who can give you some direction and encouragement. You are going to need all you can get. I wish I could get all my research to you but that would be next to impossible. I will put the contact information on this website and you can do some checking before you contact the person. Sad to say we live in a pretty screwed up world and one cannot be too careful.
I will tell you that after all the misery and getting to the point where I was about to give up, my employee was persuaded to look at all the unfulfilled prophecies and the people who were affected by believing and coming to the reality that it was all lies. The Bible plainly tells us that we are not to change any of the scriptures and if we do we will be accursed. There is one gospel and the Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t preach it.

She is ditancing me to breaking point by the order of the tower of terror and there aint no way Im just going to stand by and watch that happen.

I am going about it at the moment with empathy I have tried the hard line and told my particular subject of the bible innacuracies and the failed prophecies of the WTBTS only to be called Satan for doing so. So I have very gently got my foot back in the door and just decided to show my subject love and empathy and see where that takes me.
I would be very interested from anyone who has pulled this off by way of any method that might work. I am also interested from any groups or individuals in my area Surrey England to liase with on the subject. Together maybe we can bring down “The Tower of Terror”

All the religions of the world here is your chance to help a non believer I have never been involved in any religion and educate my family likewise. I also realize the flaws in Darwins theory before you start with that old chestnut. I quite simply believe that no one knows how we got here and I have believed it for as long as I can remember which is about 38 mostly happy years. When I was a child I lost my only sibling to cancer and vowed to live life to the max. It really annoys me how wars are fought in the name of religion and innocent good people are killed in the name of religion. My reason for visiting the site is that I have a friend that I think may have joined a cult and i am researching the facts.
I have trouble understanding JWs still carrying on with the beliefs of 9 men in New York when the evidence is clearly stacked against them. “The truth” is quite clearly a mind control technique. The bible was written thousands of years ago by primitive men and has no place in modern society. Prayer doesnt work. Hello. My nephew, Michael herman, joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses a number of years ago in Alberta, Canada. At that time, to his father’s great sorrow, he decided to sever contacts with his family. His father is now ill with cancer and we have been trying everything we can to find Mike to let him know. Can you please tell me if there is any way of at least letting him know, through you? Then it will be his choice and his right whether or not to see his dad again. Thank you so much. Kim

I agree the Old Testament is full of horrors. At least the folks who got murdered raped and pillaged, never got to be ressurected into a burning hellpit forever, ever and ever. We have to wait for the hero of the New Testament, Jesus, to bestow this good news to us.

I don’t like censorship, but I didn’t built this website to become a place where visitors will be welcomed by a stream of creative abuse. Yes, I received a lot of complaints. Most complainers are ex-JW’s who have good memories of how this web-site helped them in the past to see the truth behind ‘The Truth’. Although I don’t spend so many time any more on this website, I hope it will remain a place where people can learn and discover things about the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watchtower Society without being offended to much about what my visitors write in their comments. I hope you understand this. In the future I will remove comments that degrade the value of this website.

PS.I hope it’s a decision of yours only and not of some enemy of Freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of political views, freedom of social policies views, freedom of opinion, freedom of conscience and freedom of not participating to a forum if the way the topics are discussed fail to be palatable enough for our conscience or pseudo-such.
Sort of what happens within the evil and daemonic walls of the Towers of All Terrors where such fundamental human rights are scornfully trampled on and denied.

Why would any religion want to control the social boundaries and limit the freethinking and spritual growth of any person when freewill was a gift offered to man from the creator? A religion which encourages divisiveness and bigotry is EVIL what else can you say?

Well, it seems the JW’s have really done a number on you. You have fallen for the classic move of JW’s – they pull you close and make themselves indespensible to you until you have cut all ties with your non-JW mates and then they have you trapped and at their mercy. The brain-washing is already taking a firm grip on your brain and by the finish you actually believe that there is “nothing” outside of the religion. You will never be the same again in that guilt will rule your life , even if you left the JW’s in the future. You will ” be weighed in the balance and found wanting ” and that’s just in your own head! i know it’s pointless trying to stop you , but I am asking you to think clearly and to leave now.
