Number of Memorial Partakers increasing rapidly
144,000 has a religious significance for Jehovah’s Witnesses because they believe this small number represents the total number of humans who have a “heavenly hope” and will reign with Christ in heaven. Those with this “heavenly hope” take part of the symbols during the annual celebration of the “Lord’s Evening Meal”, or “Memorial of Christ’s Death”. Every year the Watchtower Society publishes the number of these “Memorial Partakers”.
Because the Watchtower Society teaches that ” … the number of anointed ones on the earth has decreased over the decades… ” (Watchtower Feb 15 2009 par.14 pp.27-28) it is remarkable to see the number of “Memorial Partakers” is rising despite these recent remarks in The Watchtower. Don’t the brothers on Bethel’s writing department consult the annual service reports? In 2008 there was almost a 10% increase in the number of Partakers over 2007! According to the latest service report there were 9986 “Memorial Partakers” in 2008.
This was not a new trend because there were increases in the previous years too. The lowest number of “Memorial Partakers” that the Watchtower Society reported was 8524 in 2005. The number has gone up every year since then. In 2008 the number of Partakers is 17% more than three years before.
The decreasing number of “The Remnant” has long been seen as a proof that we live in the “Last Days”:
“Six Convincing Lines of Evidence” that we are in the Last Days. … Sixth, the number of genuine anointed disciples of Christ is dwindling, though some will evidently still be on earth when the great tribulation begins. Most of the remnant are quite elderly, and over the years the number of those who are truly anointed has been getting smaller.” (Watchtower 2000 Jan 15 p.13)
But the number of “The Remnant” is actually increasing rapidly.

Am happy that you know the significance of the number 144,000 but quite sure you dont fully appreciate why the bible categorically associate that number with members christ bride.
If you have chosen you would go to heaven,nobody will argue with you for you have the right to believe anything you want.
The noise you made about the witnesses belief in your thesis is obviously immaterial and lack substance in all ramification.
We expect dissenting voices and bitter criticism from people like yourself for Jesus himself was virulently opposed and he said that his true followers will be object of hatred by people of the nations like yourself. But instead of inflicting so much pain and anguish on yourself why not get yourself acquainted with more productive enterprise?
I pray for Jehovah’s undeserved kindness for you and his grace to be upon you so that you will come back to your senses like the 1st century Apostle Paul.

You quote only but a few verses from the good book which already raises a number of question as least to an enquiring mind.
Here we have a known, convicted murderer (David) and he has a covenant with GOD.
It seems the quote ‘For evil doers shall be cut off’ does not really count. David who is guilty of killing a good friend and colleague so he could fuck his wife does really count as he was favored by the Lord.
Double standard here, as Biblegod Jehovah, Jah or whatever you call him is as guilty as sin.

Most of the numbers in Revelation are symbolic. More likely than not, the number 144,000 is a number which represents a much larger number. For example, the 7 spirits of God, is that a literal number or a number which represents a much larger number. The 24 elders sitting around the throne of God, is 24 a literal number or a number which represents a much larger nunber? The Governing Body would say, that these “represents a much larger number.” So why do they say that 144,000 DOESN’T also represent a much larger number?
The Governing Body taught for many years that 1935 was the year that closed the heavenly door. They now admit that they were wrong. So what makes one believe that they are right about the number 144,000 being a literal number?
A much closer examination shows that there is no heavenly hope. That is, no ones home is going to be up in heaven. The kingdom COMES to the earth. The expression “heavenly kinggdom” merely means that it is a kingdom which orignates from God and is not a kingdom ‘OF THIS SATANIC REALM’. This is why Jesus said” “my kingdom is not OF THIS WORLD”. It will be a different world, because Satan will no longer be ruling but God will.
Here is a Scripture which shows that the 144,000 is just a symbolic number:
“And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying, ‘Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.’ ” Jeremiah 33:19-22
And what makes the Governing Body think that the “anointed” will reign FROM HEAVEN? They will reign with Christ ON THE EARTH:

As we know, the Governing Body claims that the NEW COVENANT is only for those who they claims will have THE HEAVENLY HOPE.
But why does the above Scripture say that Yahweh (Jehovah) will “PLANT THEM IN THIS LAND.”?
As I said, a deeper Bible study shows that no one will be having their home up in heaven, but mankinds home is right here on the earth.
“The heavens, even the heavens are the LORDS; but THE EARTH hath He GIVEN TO THE SONS OF MEN.” Psalms 114:16
